PROCESSING OF ALTERNATIVE FUELS, INDUSTRIAL AND MUNICIPAL WASTE BY SUPERADIABATIC COMBUSTION

Based on fundamental research of superadiabatic modes of filtration combastion, the technology and equipment for processing of low-calorie stock into electric energy and valuable hydrocarbon products have been developed. The technology is appropriate for processing of low-quality combustible fossil, alternative fuels, including biofuel, and industrial and municipal waste.

The technology is characterized by:

  • a high energetic coefficient of efficiency of gasification (up to 95%);
  • a modular approach to the process arrangement, which allows different energetic devices and various concomitant technologies, as well as available industrial infrastructure, to be used;
  • high ecological purity of gas exhausts and slag; dioxins formation and heavy metals ejection are much lower than for available disposal plants;
  • the cost of the complex is 1.5 – 2 times lower than that of the plants with similar ecological and energetic parameters.
A typical layout of processing  

The technology for processing of various kinds of stock has been developed, with production of syngas, condensed hydrocarbons and inorganic products, and electric power.

The following materials can be processed:

  ♦ petroleum and oil waste;
  ♦ substandard coal, coal mining waste;
  ♦ worn-out tires;
  ♦ waste wood;
  ♦ municipal waste;
  ♦ biomass;
  ♦ sewage sludge and mud.

The technology is aimed at involving alternative energy products in economy circulation and improving the environment ecology due to reduction of gas blow-outs and elimination of dumps.
