VII VOEVODSKY CONFERENCE

The VII Voevodsky Conference "Physics and Chemistry of Elementary Chemical Processes" will be held in Chernogolovka (Moscow Region, Russia) on June 24-28, 2007, in the Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics RAS (N.N.Semenov Ave., 1).
Opening of the Conference – June 25, 9-00, the Assembly Hall of the Administration Building of IPCP RAS.
Closing of the Conference – June 28.
All oral and poster sessions will be held in the Administration Building and the Corpus 1/1 of IPCP RAS.
For presentation of graphic materials and illustratuins for oral reports, a multimedia projector will be provided. Presentations in PowerPoint format should be provided on a CD or a flash drive.
The maximum width of the poster rack is 70 cm.
REGISTRATION
Registration of participants:
June 24, 1600-2000 - in the lobby of the Hotel of SSC RAS.
June 25, 800-1400 - in the Administration Building of IPCP RAS.
The Conference Program and Abstracts will be placed on WWW-server.
The innovative Microsymposium "Physics and Chemistry of Processes Oriented toward the Advance of High Technologies, Materials (Products, Drugs), Equipment (and Devices)" will be additionally held during the "VII Voevodsky Conference". Applications for the participation (type of presentation to be noted – reports, displays, stands, or exhibition samples), Registration Form, and Abstract should be sent to the e-mail addresses: VVV-2007@icp.ac.ru and alfaim@mail.ru in accordance with VII Voevodsky Conference rules (noted "INNO").

Dear colleagues,
We cordially invite you to participate in the VII Voevodsky Conference "Physics and Chemistry of Elementary Chemical Processes". The Conference will be held in Chernogolovka (Moscow Region, Russia) on June 24-28, 2007. The First Voevodsky Conference took place in 1977 to honor Academician Vladislav V. Voevodsky’s contribution to various areas of chemical physics and his role in the development of physical methods in chemistry. The Voevodsky Conference has become traditional and is held in Russia every five years, alternating locations between Moscow and Novosibirsk.

The Conference Scientific Program will consist of invited lectures (30 min for presentation plus 10 min for discussion), oral presentations (15 min + 5 min) and poster sessions.
LANGUAGE
Official languages of the Conference will be Russian and English.
REGISTRATION FEE AND ACCOMODATION
The registration fee is 250 Euro for each participant and 130 Euro for accompanying persons, post-graduates and students. The fee covers edititorial expenditures, welcome party, coffee breaks and transfers from Moscow airports to Chernogolovka and back. Registration fee details will be published in the Second Announcement.
Hotels can be booked in advance through the local organizing committee

The fee can be paid either at the registration desk or by money transfer to the account (please mark “Voevodsky Conference” and indicate your name and affiliation).
DOMESTIC TRANSPORTATION
Russian participants are kindly requested to inform the organizers about their itinerary.
SOCIAL PROGRAM
The organizers will arrange an entertaining programme for the participants and their accompanying persons.
SUBMISSION OF CONTRIBUTIONS
Those wishing to participate in the Conference are kindly requested to send the registration form via e-mail or on-line ASAP and an abstract(s) to the e-mail address: VVV-2007@icp.ac.ru.
The abstract is up to 2 pages. It should be converted in the *.pdf file (Adobe Acrobat). The abstract template is attached.
LOCATION AND VISAS
Chernogolovka is a quiet small town in the vicinity of Moscow. Chernogolovka was established as a scientific center about 50 years ago. The Conference will be held in the administrative building of the RAS Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics.
The Local Committee will realize a formal procedure to allow all visitors requiring a visa to enter Russia to get it in time, for the whole period of the Conference and (if needed) for the additional stay in Chernogolovka or Moscow.
